Yes, unbelievably “The Debt Collector” is going to Cannes Lions 2011. Surprised and excited, must be doing something right, not sure what the fuck it is! Ta to everyone who helped out and got involved. Will let you know which festival it gets shown at in the UK. So we can all get very drunk.

When I explained this to a friend he said I have OCD, I wasn’t sure but then I realised he was right. And that means my girlfriend has it also her story will be part 2. This is my little obsession.
This is my entry for the MishMash Getty Images competition. I could win a laptop and since mine has died thought I’d try. If you like go here and vote.
Principle photography has finished with a few pick-ups remaining.
The format has slowed the edit quite a lot. We’ve used the Canon 5D so the conversion to 25fps is long and time consuming, if you want to get the best results.
All is looking good at the moment, the footage looks great and the story is as mad as ever.

EX3 pro35 adaptor problems
Due to unforeseen camera problems we have to re-shoot. The Ex-3 is a great camera but has limitations when you want to use a pro35 adapter. The amount of stuff the camera needs to support the lens mount so it doesn’t get ripped out the camera makes it so heavy it is impossible to do effective hand held shots. And as the film should have been 50% hand held we need to re-shoot. Some good shots though:
